naomi emmylou solace ( born emmylou woodburn ) was born to diana and jeremiah woodburn in a rural part of southern texas. emmylou’s parents were both devout christians, both practising and living their lives by the words of the bible and the church. emmylou, on the other hand, never found herself devoting herself to the beliefs of christianity, and would often yearn for a life outside of the life she had at home, where both parents would try, with little to no success, to convert their daughter to christianity. emmylou found her sweet escape through music at a very young age. it started innocently with her asking for an acoustic guitar for her birthday at one point during her earlier stages of life, which later would lead to her sneaking out during the night to play and perform at local pubs in the area.like any other secret, emmylou’s secret concerning her sneaking out was bound to be uncovered like most other well – kept secrets. this event issued to alter emmylou’s relationship with both of her parents, both disapproving of her late night shenanigans, feeling like they had been lied to – a sin in christianity. since the aforementioned event, the relationship between both parties was strained, and emmylou decided to change paths in life and fled from her childhood home to start a new life in austin at eighteen. a taste of fresh air and to get a certain weight lifted off her shoulders.upon her arrival in austin, emmylou changed her name to what she’s now more famously known as; naomi solace, her original first name remaining, but as an unspoken of middle name. during her first few years in austin, naomi lived in a dorm with a few other people, while working several part time jobs both as an underground country musician, and as a waitress here and there.naomi first met her future son’s godly parent, apollo, whilst she was still an underground musician, yet to be discovered by the texans. apollo would watch her perform in the pubs, which she was performing in at the time. the two would be on friendly, slightly flirty terms but seemingly nothing more at the time. naomi would grow a certain fondness of apollo due to his beliefs in naomi having a chance in the limelight as an alt – country singer.as years pass by – no sight of apollo – naomi eventually gets discovered at one of the pubs she’s performing at, and rises to fame. one day, during one of her shows, naomi then spots apollo in the very front of the crowd, cheering on her as one of the loudest. the reunion of the two at the show eventually led to a fling, which resulted in naomi falling pregnant with william andrew solace.post rising to fame, especially in the state of texas, diana and jeremiah have on numerous occasions tried to reconnect with their daughter without luck. each time, naomi shooed them off and specifically told them that they'd had their chances and they blew them ages ago. that she had no sympathy for the two left.the continuation of these situations especially got more abominable during naomi's pregnancy with william, and during his infant years.
